Here's a random survey I did on facebook. It's for you... you who brought me back to blogging ;)
50 Things -
1. I was born with a congenital hand disorder. I don't know what the exact disorder is but it is a form of Syndactyly, which is the fusing of the fingers. I've had nearly 20 surgeries to increase the functionality and cosmetics of my hands. (they took skin graphs away from me...)
2. The number one question people ask me is "what happened to my hands". I reply with something basic and of the truth (i was born with it) or I come back with something truly heinous like Jesse H. took my fingers away from me. OR Penguin (Nate's Counselor name at Camp Cherith) got really mad at me and ate them.
3. I have a weird obsession for pens. I like Uni-Ball Vision pens and Pilot G2 Red pens.
4. I got my ear pierced at an early age. My brothers and I developed a game where we have hollow poles in which we shoot thumb tacks through. Think of it as a blow dart gun. One of my brothers had shot me in the ear.
5. I am in love with Vitamin Water.
6. I have a system of what I do first thing in the morning.
7. I actually enjoy watching the news.
8. I am one of 9 kids. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. (One of them recently passed away.) The ages range from 30-16.
9. I was born in a city called Pusan, South Korea.
10.I used to eat Ramen Noodles for breakfast, every day.
11.I actually enjoy golfing, no matter how crappy I am doing.
12. My favorite book of the Bible has to be either Ecclesiastes, 1 Corinthians, or Revelation.
13. My first R-Rated movie to watch was Starship Troopers and my first R-Rated movie to see in the theatre was Kill Bill.
14. Favorite Disney movie is Mulan.
15. A life long dream is being able to go to Amarillo and do the 72oz Steak challenge. Thats 72oz of steak, a baked potato and a salad. Good thing is, if you complete that feast, it's free!
16. At 9 years old, I got a plastic spoon stuck on my pinkie and my Dad had to call the fire department to come and get it off. He tried soap and oil and all of that, but eventually a fireman brought this awesome mini-skill saw to get it off.
17. I've never broken a bone in my body.
18. I thoroughly like listening to Matt Chandler, Mark Driscoll, and Ben Stuart.
19. I am an avid gamer, haha.
20. I have a strange attraction to the sounds of Fergie.
21. I simply abhor math, but I like writing.
22. I've been pick pocketed before. Curse American Eagle shorts.
23. I get deja vu at least once a day.
24. Bobby Mays and I became best friends through a girl named Elizabeth Connor.
25. Souper Salads is my favorite place to dine. Contrary to what people think of it.
26. I've been at Plano Bible for nearly 12 years.
27. I hate concerts.
28. I've gotten in one car accident -- in my Mom's Jeep Cherokee.
29. I've only recieved one traffic ticket -- not wearing my seat belt. They weren't joking with the click it or ticket campaign.
30. There is this straight fear of attics that I have. I watched a ghost show. It was said that ghost took wire and tried to hang someone on a nail in their attic.
31. I was a very weird Junior Higher.
32. As an adoptive child, there were times where I used it to my advantage. We were at Six Flags one time, and my Mom wanted to go and I didn't. So, my Mom drags me out of there, so I am screaming like a banshee and yelling "I want my Daddy!!". If you try and picture this, it does look kind of funny. My Mom is white and I am asian, so, here's this woman dragging an asian kid yelling I want my Daddy.
33. I hate Kimchi.
34. I was homeschooled from 3rd grade to graduation.
35. My favorite band is Linkin Park. I started liking them after seeing a commercial for them on the TV.
36. I lived in the same house all of my life. I've also lived in every single bedroom at one point in time (including my parents room - first few months I was here).
37. I am an uncle to 2 nieces. Weird.
38. My right eye (my dominant eye) has been owned by so many people.
39. I used to be in Boy Scouts. Took me 6-7 years to get my Eagle.
40. My first email address was fire_hazard_420@juno.com.
41. I've never been able to beat one game of Minesweeper.
42. I can flip someone off by not even moving my fingers.
43. I memorized how to beat the freecell game #586.
44. Strawberry Lemonade, Strawberries & Creme, and Caramel Apple Spice are all equally good at Starbucks.
45. My first job was at an Albertsons.
46. I never trick or treated until I was 17.
47. I use an unnatural amount of blankets. I like to go to bed cold and wake up warm.
48. I have a cat named Charlie and we cuddle every night.
49. I can't say the word facetious.
50. Jesse Hensarling, Joshua James Nunley, and I all spoon whenever they sleep over. Josh is always in the middle.
